Cynthia Russell

Cynthia Marie Russell,56, of Liberty Hill passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2022 at a local hospital.

A memorial service for Cynthia will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Belton with Pastor Joseph Hagerty officiating.

Cynthia was born on August 9, 1966 in Upland, CA to Lester and Cheryl Hagerty. She was a full-time mother to her three children for most of her life and enjoyed restoring antique furniture. Cynthia loved being a mother, grandmother, and spending her time with her family. She enjoyed the outdoors and nature. Cynthia liked to go hiking and enjoyed it most with her grandson. Cynthia had really started to get in the kayaking in recent years and found her happy place to be on the water. Her family will always think of her when they see hummingbirds or butterflies. Most of all they will miss her outgoing fun personality and how she always brought them all together.

She is preceded in death by her father, Lester Hagerty and her niece, Amanda Neymere.

Cynthia is survived by her mother, Cheryl Hagerty of Mentone, CA; her sons, Kevin Russell and his wife, Jessica of Temple, and Travis Russell and his wife, Amber of Liberty Hill; her daughter, Heather Russell of Liberty Hill; her brother, Michael Hagerty of Mentone, CA; her sisters, Lorie Mangione of Mentone, CA, Debra “Debbie” Hagerty of Fontana, CA, and her three cherished grandchildren and one on the way.
