Zachary Keith Maxwell

Zachary Keith Maxwell,30, of Belton passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021.
 
A memorial graveside service will be held on Friday at 9:00 a.m. at North Belton Cemetery in Belton.
 
Zachary was the oldest son of Keith and Cheryl Maxwell. He was born on September 8, 1990, in Frederick, Maryland. He graduated from Belton High School in 2009. Zac attended the University of Texas and graduated in 2014 with a double major in English and Philosophy. Zac marched to the beat of his own drum and could be considered a "starving artist".  His passion was literature and music.  He loved books and seemed to always have one with him, and enjoyed music of all kinds, including classical. He was a writer, playwriter, and composer.  Zac loved the lake and the outdoors, cliff jumping, and sports--especially professional soccer.  Zac was kind hearted, empathetic, loving and forgiving. His family loves him and will miss him dearly.
 
He is survived by his parents, Keith and Cheryl Maxwell, his brother, Andrew Maxwell, and Grandmother, Lorine Proske, all of Belton, along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In Lieu of flowers, the family would like people to donate to the Helping Hands Ministry in Belton or the Belton Public Library in Zachary's name. Links are below.
