Woodrow Earnest Heldreth

Woodrow Ernest "Butch" Heldreth, 75, of Moody passed away on Friday, May 24, 2019. Butch was born to Woodrow and Dorothy Heldreth on July 11, 1943 in Zanesville, Ohio. He served over 30 years in the United States military, including the Air Force, Marine Corp, and retiring the Army. He was also a part of the Veterans of Foreign Wars organization. Butch was a very patriotic man and was a proud United States veteran. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Francis Episcopal Church located at 5001 Hickory Road, Temple, TX 76502.Rev. John T. Wells will be officiating and military honors will be provided. A fellowship will be held after the services. Butch is survived by his son, Leland A. Heldreth of Moody; his daughter, Wendy Sisneroz of Belton; his brother, Gregory Mecomber of North Carolina and four grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his brother, Rodney Mecomber, and his sister, Mary Lou Johnson. Arrangements are entrusted to Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton.
