William ""Bill"" Ray Moore, 72, of Belton passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at a local hospital in Temple. Bill was born on October 25, 1946 to William and Juanita Moore in Tomball. He attended school in Magnolia. He worked in electrical and as a Truck Driver for most of his life. He married Mary ""Liz"" Elizabeth Underwood on August 31, 1985 in Magnolia. Bill loved helping others. He had a servant's heart. Bill volunteered for Aware, a child advocacy program and the Special Olympics. He enjoyed his flower garden, his morning social hour where he would call and check on different friends and family members, hunting, and fishing. He attended Nolan Valley Baptist Church and was a proud member of the Masonic Lodge in Belton. He is survived by his wife, Mary ""Liz"" Moore of Belton; his daughters, Laura Michelle Murchison of Texarkana, and Jana Renae Moore of Temple; his sister, Elizabeth Ann Stumm of Rhome; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Nolan Valley Baptist Church with Pastor Daren Rich officiating. A viewing will be held one hour prior from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. burial will follow at McDowell Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a local child advocacy charity in honor of Bill. Arrangements are entrusted to Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton.
