William Harbes

William Theodore Harbes, known affectionately to friends and family as Bill, passed away on June 21, 2024, at the age of 59 in Temple, Texas. Born on February 16, 1965, in Houston, Texas, Bill's life was characterized by his infectious humor, remarkable handiness, and the immense love he had for his family.

Bill's journey through life was filled with laughter and hard work. He was the beloved husband of Alana Harbes, with whom he recently celebrated 38 years of marriage-a partnership built on mutual respect, love, and an abundance of cherished memories. Together, they raised their three children, Charity Sembera (Joseph), Jesse Harbes (Megan), and Bruce Harbes (Kailynne), who were the pride and delight of Bill's life. He was also a doting grandfather to Joseph Jr, Hannah, Luke, Jennings, and Amslee, whose adventures and accomplishments brought him immeasurable happiness.

Bill made his mark in the world through his work as a mechanic, a career that spanned several decades. His colleagues knew him as a man who could always be relied upon to lend a helping hand or share a joke to lighten the mood. His expertise and dedication to his craft were evident in the quality of his work and the esteem in which he was held by his peers.
