Willard Dean Vinson Sr.

Willard Dean Vinson, 75, of Temple (formally of Sturgis, SD) passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at a local hospital. A private family memorial will be held at a later date at the Hillard Ranch in Temple. Willard was born on March 20, 1943 to John and Blanche Vinson in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He worked as a truck driver hauling show props form bands and large performances for many years. Willard enjoyed fishing, being outside, working in the yard. He is survived by his four sons,Mike Siegfried of Sioux Falls, SD, Willard Dean Vinson Jr. of Enid, OK, James Vinson of Sturgis, SD, and John Vinson of Patrick Air Force Base in Florida; his three brothers, John Vinson of Council Bluffs,IA, Mike Vinson of Vilonia, AR; and Bill Oakland of Fort Collins, CO, and his sister, Julie Powell of Wasilla, AK; fifteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
