Willard Bennett

Willard Alvin Bennett, 76, of Belton passed away on Thursday December 8, 2022 at a Temple hospital.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Willard was born on June 27, 1946 in Mexia, TX to Jess Willard and Allie Bernice Raines Bennett. He married Janet Rand July 11, 1981 in Bedford, TX.

Willard was a Rancher and enjoyed riding his tractor and gator around the pastures. He loved tinkering on projects in the barn and around the Ranch.

He is survived by his wife Janet Rand of Belton; two sons, John Bennett and wife Lindsey of Garland, TX and James Bennett and wife Meggan of Frisco, TX. ; one daughter, Lisa Bennett Drake and husband Alex of Dallas, TX.; one sister, Pam Burns and husband Bill , their children, Leslie Burns and son Benjamin Burns of Texarkana; three grandchildren, Olive, Adam and Samuel.
