Virginia Nell Rule

Virginia Nell (Karl) Rule, 75, of Belton passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family. A private family memorial will be held at a later date. Virginia Nell (Karl) Rule was born May 4, 1941 to Henry and Ada Karl in Holland. She lived in Bell County most of her life. Virginia loved to watch ""Days of Our Lives" and even got her sisters watching it with her. She enjoyed reading in her spare time and spending time with her family. Virginia spent her last days sitting in her backyard visiting with family, watching the birds and squirrels, and her grandkids laughing and playing outside in the sunshine. She had a full life and will be missed. She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Ada Karl; her two brothers, Woody Karl and Billy Karl. Virginia is survived by her beloved dog, Toby Rule; one daughter, Donna Shelton of Belton; one son, Jesse Gallagher of Omaha; eight grandchildren, Brad Shelton, Amanda Shelton, Sarah Shelton, Kevin Gallagher, Jennifer Gallagher, Brian Gallagher, Cindy Gallagher, and James Gallagher; nine great grandchildren, Taylyn, Tasen, Ashtin, Zackary, Camryn, Amanda, Addison, Arieth and Gyphon; three sisters, Dixie Shelton of Belton, Peggy Roberts of Belton, and Carolyn Baggerly of The Grove; one brother, Danny Karl of Belton.
