Valerie Jane Porter

Valerie Jane Porter,58, of Temple passed away on January 23, 2018 at her residence. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton. Valerie was born on August 24, 1959 in Tacoma, WA to Charles and Shirley Gile. She worked for MHMR for several years as a vocational assistant. Valerie loved motorcycles, animals, gardening, and being outside. She attended church at the Salvation Army in Temple. Valerie was known for being the life of the party and will be dearly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Shirley Gile. Valerie is survived by her two sons, Richard James Patz of Amarillo, and Joshua Shaun Bieda of Taylor; her two sisters, Charlotte Carson of Reno, and Daphne Renfrow of Temple; one grandchild, Olivia Marie Bieda of Temple.
