Valda Ruth Noblin, 75, of Belton passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2019 in the comfort of her home. Valda was born to Hezzie and Ester Hester on October 18, 1943 in Temple, Texas. She was the first female bus driver in Temple, and you could find her at the senior center, where she was on the committee, on most days. She loved being outdoors and always enjoyed going to the lake. Valda had a loving heart, and would help anyone in need. Valda was also a fighter who beat off five types of cancer. A great example of who Valda was comes from Proverbs 31:26 - "She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue." Valda is preceded in death by her sisters Betty Dubec and Wanda Funutes. Valda is survived by her sons Kenneth Bailey of Gatesville, Mark Bailey of South Dakota, David Bailey of Belton, and Daryl Bailey of Belton; her daughter Denise Leonard of Belton; her brother David Hester of Rogers, TX; her sister Martha More of Holland, TX; her twenty grandchildren; her fifty four great grandchildren; and her first great great grandchild on the way. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Crotty Funeral Home. Arrangements are entrusted to Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton.
