Travis Corey Mireles

Travis Corey Mireles, 25, of Academy passed away Monday, March 28, 2016 as a result of his injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. A viewing before cremation will be held from 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. on Friday, April 1, 2016 at Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Belton. Travis Corey Mireles was born January 23, 1991 to Bob and Bettina Mireles in Temple. He was a student at TSTC in Waco. Travis loved fishing, hunting, building fires, back roading, the lake, and spending time with his friends. Travis will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him. He was the kind of young man anyone would be proud to to call a son, a grandson, and a friend. Travis is survived by his father, Bob Mireles;his mother, Bettina Crawford; his two brothers, Christopher Ray Hill of Austin, and Cody Ray Hill of Temple; his two sisters, Dayna Brooke Mireles, of Del Valle and Kylee Kay Crawford, of Killeen; his grandmothers, Brigitte Sellman of Killeen and Teresa Mireles of Academy; two aunts, Theresa Mireles of Academy, and Sherri Crawford of Troy; three Uncles, Paul Mireles of Academy, Peter Mireles of Arlington and Bobby Crawford of Troy; along with many other friends and relatives. Travis was preceded in death by his uncle, Dr. Matthew Mireles, of Houston and his two grandfathers, Andrew Mireles of Academy and Boyd E. Crawford of Louisiana. Travis's family and friends will be hosting a celebration of his life, that is more Travis's style at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Belton.
