Tommy Adams

Thomas Michael “Tommy” Adams, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2023, in Temple, Texas surrounded by his family.

Born on May 13, 1970, to Thomas "TJ" Joseph Adams and Suzann (Rieff) Adams, Tommy was a loving son, father, grandfather, and uncle who touched the lives of many with his kindness.

After graduating from Academy High School, Tommy went on to work as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) before joining Wilsonart, where he dedicated many years of service until his retirement. Tommy married Christene Lee in 1993 and together they raised two children.

Tommy's greatest joy in life was spending time with his family and friends. Tommy was an avid sports fan and loved watching his favorite teams, the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Longhorns.

Tommy's life was filled with laughter, love, and kindness, and he will be deeply missed. He was truly a sweet soul and his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

Tommy was preceded in death by his father, TJ Adams; paternal grandparents, Thomas B. and Helen L. Adams; maternal grandparents, Henry "Buck" and Margaret Rieff; and his beloved daughter, Kaitlin Leann Adams, who passed away in 2022.

He is survived by his  mother, Suzann Whatley; his sister, Stephanie Tomasek, and her husband, Patrick, of Temple; his nephews, John and Luke Tomasek; his niece, Hope Tomasek; a son, McLaine Adams and his cherished grandchildren, Jude, Olivia, Noah, Lillian “Mouse”, and Meredith Adams.

Memorial service for Tommy will be 3 P.M. Thursday, June 1, 2023 at Crotty funeral home in Belton with H.K. Ballard officiating.
