Thomas Adams

Thomas "T.J." Joseph Adams, 66, of Temple passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at his residence, surrounded by his family.

A public visitation to gather together, share stories and celebrate his life will be on Thursday, March 8, 2018 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Crotty Funeral Home.

A private family memorial will be held at a later date.

Thomas was born in February 14, 1952 to Thomas and Helen Adams in Watertown, SD. He graduated from Temple High School in 1970. He joined the Santa Fe Railroad, where he worked for over 25 years until he retired. Thomas never met a stranger and generally most outings took much longer due to him making sure to he spoke to everyone. He was very social and known for being a jokester. He loved to play cards, the game of baseball, and he was a fierce domino player. Thomas was a devoted grandfather and loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Helen Adams; his cherished cousins, Mary Ellen Leahy, Ed Leahy and Morgan Amanda Fritzlen. This heavenly reunion, along with many others brings a joy amidst his family's loss.

Thomas is survived by his son, Thomas Michael Adams and wife, Christene of Temple; his daughter, Stephanie Tomasek and husband, Patrick of Academy; his cousin, Jerrice Fritzlen and husband, Tom of Arizona; his grandchildren, Thomas Adams ,Kaitlin Adams, both of Temple, John Tomasek, Luke Tomasek, and Hope Tomasek all of Academy; his great grandchildren, Jude, Olivia, Noah, and Lillian.

Arrangements are entrusted to Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton.
