Skylar Michaela Hines Little

Skylar Michaela Hines Little, 19, of Nolanville passed away as the result of a tragic house fire on January 24, 2018. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Grace Christian Center, in Killeen, with Pastor Steve Martin officiating. Burial will follow the services at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, in Nolanville. Skylar Michaela Hines Little was the daughter of Mike and Denise Little Hines, born on October 10, 1998, in Temple, Texas. She was a cheerleader and enjoyed doing competitions in middle school. Skylar was a proud Harker Heights, Knight. Skylar was an Athletic Student Trainer at HHHS. She was given the nickname ""Trip"" by her peers, because she was always falling down or being knocked down, while walking or even just standing. In her junior year she was selected "Most Dependable" and in her senior year, was selected "Head Student Trainer". She was the recipient of two athletic scholarships. Skylar graduated from Harker Heights High School in 2017. She had planned to attend Temple College to study nursing. Skylar was preceded in death by her mother, Denise Hines, grandmother, Gesina "Sherry" Hines, grandfather, Marvin Hines and uncle, Eddie Hines. Skylar is survived by her father, Mike Little, brother, Seth Little, two uncles; Robert and Scott Hines, six cousins; Andrew, Zachary, Robert, Meg, Abigail and Emily.
