Sheila Yvonne Trotmon-Cook, 62, of Killeen, passed away on Monday, June 14, 2021 at her residence. Sheila was born to Mamie and Frank Trotmon on May 21, 1959 in Milford, Delaware. Sheila served her country in the United States Army from 1980 to 1995, and later worked for VetPride as an Assistant Dining Facility Manager. She also obtained a degree in Drug and Alcohol Abuse Counseling. Sheila enjoyed racquetball, volleyball, singing and dancing, and spending time at the casino.
A funeral service for Sheila will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton with Pastor Kevin Johnson officiating. Graveside service will be held on Monday, June 21, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.
Sheila is survived by her son, Sean Trotmon of Killeen; her daughter, Domenika Trotmon of Kempner; her brothers, Frank Trotmon and Fred Trotmon, both of Delaware; her sisters, Terry McGee, Laura Trotmon, Frankie Driskel, Mamie Goslee, Gloria Trotmon, and Falishia Trotmon, all of Delaware; and her five adored grandchildren.
Sheila is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth E. Cook, who passed in 2000.
Arrangements are entrusted to Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton.
