Sandy Joe Curry

Sandy Joe Curry,68, of Killeen passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 with services conducted by Tassha Faison at Keys Valley Baptist Church of Belton. Sandy was born on September 13, 1949 to Amos and Hattie Curry in Hopkinsville, GA. He was was handy man and helped anyone that he could. Sandy enjoyed watching crime shows, all types of music, M&Ms, playing cards, listening to the radio scanner, and spending time with his family. Sandy lived the remainder of his life with his granddaughter, Tassha Fiason and his great grandsons Dangelo and Dillon. He was known for his "Papa Joe Bread". Sandy was a loving man and will be dearly missed. He is preceded in death by his wife, Carrie Howard Curry;his parents, Amos Curry and Hattie Ruth Harris Curry;his sons, Thomas Howard and Clyde Howard Jr.; his brothers, Eddie Curry and Keelan McMillian;his sisters Sylvia Arlee Johnson and Ruthie Mae Burch. Sandy is survived by his son, Terrance Bryant of Douglas,GA and William Howard of Statesboro,GA;his daughters, Caroline Lott, Elizabeth West, Laura Waites, and Cassandra Miller;his brothers, David Curry, Walter Curry,and George Curry, all of Douglas , GA;his sisters, Earlouise Davis, and Rose Williams, both of Douglas, GA; eleven grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
