Sandra "Sandy" Lane, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, left this world peacefully on February 21, 2025, in Belton, Texas.

 Private family services will be held at a later date. 

 Born on August 28, 1951, in Fredericktown, Missouri, Sandy's warmth and vivacity were the cornerstones of a life rich in love and joy. Sandy's journey through life was marked by her devotion to her family and her passion for helping others. She is survived by her loving husband, James (Ed) Lane; her daughters, Shauna Fuchs, Cindy (Mousie) Brawley, and Sheena Shoemaker; Son -in-law...Karl Fuchs, &Joe Brawley Her adored 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Dottie Knight, and numerous nieces and nephews. Sandy also held fond memories of her former spouse, Jerry Shoemaker.

 She was preceded in death by her sons, John Shoemaker and Kevin Lane; her mother, Wanda Whitworth; her father, Clifford Whitworth; and her brothers, Clifford "Wayne" Whitworth and James "Larry" Whitworth. Sandy was a woman of many talents, as evidenced by her successful career as a licensed practical nurse (LPN). Her caring nature and skillful hands brought comfort and healing to countless individuals throughout her years of dedicated service in the medical field. Sandy's nurturing spirit extended far beyond her professional life, touching all who knew her. Beyond her professional calling, Sandy had a zest for life that was contagious. Her favorite thing to do was to spend time with her family. She found joy in the simple pleasures of crafts, sewing, and fishing. Her hands were rarely still, as she was always creating something beautiful or mending what was broken. Sandy's ability to make people smile was one of her most remarkable gifts. Whether through a kind word, a gentle touch, or a shared laugh, she lifted the spirits of everyone around her. Her favorite saying was "I love you to the Moon and Back" She believed that love was an action, and she practiced it daily, leaving a legacy of happiness in her wake. Sandy's life was a tapestry of love, woven with threads of care, creativity, and kindness. As we bid farewell to this extraordinary woman, we take comfort in knowing that her legacy will live on through the beautiful memories she has left behind. Her unwavering love and the lessons she imparted will continue to guide and inspire those who were blessed to know her. As we gather to honor and celebrate Sandy's life, we remember a woman whose heart knew no bounds. Her story is one of enduring love and the joy that comes from a life well-lived. Sandy Lane was a beacon of light in the lives of many, and her memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of those she touched.
