Sandra Allene Hughling

Sandra (Sandy) Allene Hughling, born on September 7, 1955, in Kansas, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2025, in Rogers, surrounded by her loving family.

She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion.

Sandy graduated from high school in 1971 in Gaithersburg, Maryland, paving the way for a vibrant life dedicated to both her career and her family. She built a fulfilling career in retail, where she touched many lives with her warm personality and keen sense of service.

On February 14, 1987, she married Donnie Hughling, creating a partnership that was marked by deep affection.

Sandy’s passion for family was evident in everything she did. She found immense joy in spending time with her family and friends.

Sandy is survived by three sons, Josh Gregory and his wife Jennifer, Derek Hughling, and Brent Deorsam and wife Michele; ten grandchildren: Jillian, Amy, Megan, Michael, Lucas, Lydia, Kisaac, Delaney, Ethan, and Ashton; two sisters, Renate K. Lee and her husband David A., and Donna Carter Mason.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Doris (Burdette) Carter, her daughter, Heather Gregory, and two brothers, Roy “Chinner" Carter, Jr. and Charles "Chuck" Carter.

Sandy will be greatly missed, but her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
