Sally Jones

Sally Jones, a dedicated and hardworking individual, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2023, in Belton, Texas. Born on June 17, 1950, in San Saba, Texas to Noel and Marthaguin Clark Jones. Sally's life was a beautiful tapestry of love, loyalty, and selflessness.

Private Family services will be held at a later date. Her body was cremated.

Sally's career spanned over four decades at Baylor Scott & White Memorial, where she poured her heart and soul into her work. Her commitment to her patients was unwavering until her well-deserved retirement in 2000. Her colleagues remember her as a reliable and diligent team member who always went above and beyond to assist those in need.

Outside of her professional life, Sally cultivated deep and meaningful relationships with friends who became like family to her She cherished these bonds wholeheartedly and would move mountains to help the people she held dear. Sally's kindness knew no bounds; she was always one to lend a helping hand or provide a listening ear to anyone who needed it.

One of Sally's greatest passions in life was animals. She had an immense love for creatures big and small and leaves behind her beloved pets Moonbeam, a loyal dog, and Dalila, her cat. Sally's nurturing nature extended not only to humans but also to the furry companions who brought joy and companionship into her world.

In addition to her professional accomplishments and passion for animals, Sally took immense pride in her culinary skills. Her prowess in the kitchen earned her a reputation as an excellent cook among friends and family alike. Whether it was adding that perfect touch of seasoning or creating mouthwatering dishes from scratch, Sally's cooking abilities were admired by all fortunate enough to have sampled her creations.

Sally will be deeply missed by those whose lives she touched. She is survived by her brother Chuck Jones of Comfort, Texas and her sister, Julie Sloan of San Saba, Texas.

Sally Jones will forever be remembered for her unwavering work ethic, selflessness, and genuine care for others. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those who loved her and were fortunate enough to have experienced her warmth and generosity. As we bid farewell to Sally, let us celebrate her life and the lasting impact she had on all of us. May she rest in eternal peace.
