Rudy Floyd Nunez Rudy Floyd Nunez, 64, of Killeen passed away Sunday, January 6, 2013 at his residence in the presence of his loving wife and with several family members gathered around him. A memorial service will be held in his honor at 3:00 PM Thursday, January 10, 2013 at the Lions Club Park Senior Center in Killeen with Minister Oscar Sanchez Officiating. Rudy Floyd Nunez was born on August 17, 1948 in Trinidad, Colorado to Delphina and Cornelio Nunez. He was the youngest of thirteen children. He was a therapist for drug and alcohol patients most of his life until he retired and the loving husband of Christina Flores for over thirteen years. He was a fun loving, passionate person, and very well known throughout the community. He was also an active member of several organizations and clubs. He battled his illness with great strength, courage, and the power of our Lord Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters He is survived by his wife Christina Flores of Killeen, Texas; six sons Christopher Nunez of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Jason Nunez of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Nathan Nunez and Jonathan Nunez both of Moriarty New Mexico, Pancho Flores an Sergio Flores both of Killeen, Texas; Three brothers Henry Nunez, Julian Nunez, Felix Nunez all of New Mexico; fourteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
