Ronny Dale Brown,77, a man who graced the world with his warmth and kindness, has peacefully passed away at his residence. Born in Lometa, Texas on April 15, 1947 to Jesse Warren Brown and Willie Maude Roberts Brown, he was a beacon of light to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Throughout his life, Ronny touched the hearts of many with his unwavering dedication to his work and his family. After graduating from Gatesville High in 1965, he went on to serve in the U.S. Army from 1966 until 1968, exemplifying courage and commitment to his country.
In 2005, Ronny retired from his successful career as a construction Inspector for the Army Corp of Engineers ,leaving behind a legacy of hard work and perseverance. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially spending time with family and friends. Those who knew him will always remember his generous spirit and the warmth of his hugs. Ronny found solace in various hobbies such as Golf, Hunting, and watching western movies. His love for these activities reflected his down-to-earth nature and appreciation for life's simple joys. He was a member of the VFW Lodge 4008 in Belton and the Elks Lodge in Temple. These associations spoke volumes about his commitment to community and service.
Ronny is survived by his loving wife Marilyn Anne Blass Brown of Belton, two step daughters, Joshlynn Luke of Temple and Kendall Blass of Belton. along with two devoted sisters, Tommie Tabors and Johnnie Whigham both of Gatesville. Their memories with him will forever cherish the love and kindness he shared.
Ronny was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Keith Brown on January 21, 2019; two sisters Jesse "Lanell" Brown Neatherlin on June 10, 2002 and Bennie Carlon Brown Shelton on February 25, 2015.
Memories of Ronny will be honored during visitation at Belton Nazarene Church on April 24, 2024, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. A Graveside Service will follow at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen at 2:00 PM with Pastor H.K Ballard officiating where friends and family will bid their final farewells.
In Ronny Dale Brown's departure, we mourn the loss of an exceptional individual whose impact will forever resonate within our hearts. May he rest in peace knowing he was cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
