Ronald Warner Chase Sr.

Ronald Warner Chase, Sr. 78, of Moody, passed away on Friday, October 06, 2017 at a local hospital. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Ronald was born on May, 17, 1939 to Chauncey and Exina (Brunelle) Chase in Providence, Rhode Island. He was a truck driver for over 20 years with Southeastern Freight Lines. Ron was known for his culinary skills and his green thumb. In his younger days he was an amazing drummer and his love a music never died. He enjoyed fishing, southwestern culture and golfing, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He is survived by his wife, Mary Richardson Chase; his sons, Ronald Chase Jr. of Alabama, Jason Chase and his wife Melissa, of Michigan, and Chad Estes and his wife Michelle, of Moody; his daughters, Jennifer Chase, of California, and Amy Chase Smith, of Temple, his grandchildren; Crystal, Trey, Ciara, Mazie, Bailey, Caden, Dillon, Chase and Joshua; and his great grandchildren; Kadence, Hadley and Reid. Ron was one of a kind and will be truly missed by all who knew him. Arrangements have been entrusted to Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton.
