Roger "Rocky" Fry, 69, of Rogers went to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday, July 1, 2022, at his residence.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2022, from 3:00 P.M to 5:00 P.M. at Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Belton. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, July 8, 2022, at Rogers Cemetery in Rogers with Billy Ray Crow officiating.
Rocky was born on October 20, 1952, to Eligie and Mary Etta Fry in Livingston. He was later adopted by Athol and Gladys Underwood. He graduated from Rogers High School in 1971. He then attended truck driving school and welding school. He was married to Rebecca Bowden - Fry for 23 years. Rocky was the owner and operator of R&R Welding in Rogers. He also had a tire shop and drove a big truck for many years. . Rocky hauled everything from cattle to cars all over the United States. He was an avid collector of things to be collected and if you needed something he had several of them. Rocky loved to fish and had a heart of gold.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eligie and Mary Etta Fry and Athel and Gladys Underwood, his sister, Loretta Fry, his brothers, Donald Fry and Thomas Fry, his daughter, Sarah Fry, and granddaughter, Kyrston Fry.
Rocky is survived by his sons, James Fry Sr., and Joseph Fry, both of Rogers; his daughters, Stefanie Fry of Rogers and Veronica Bettinger of Belton; His brother, Kenneth Grantom, fourteen grandchildren, and six great grandchildren and two on the way.
Arrangements are entrusted to Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton.
