Roger Ray Kelley, 59, of Troy passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 in a local hospital. Roger was born to Esther and Donald Kelley on April 15, 1960 in Belton, Texas. Roger was an avid football fan. He could always be found at the Troy Trojan football games on Friday nights. He also loved the Texas Longhorns and Dallas Cowboys. Roger loved to go out to eat and try new restaurants. You could find him sitting outside or walking around town enjoying the weather, and always sipping on an ice-cold Dr. Pepper. He was his mother's right hand. Some of Roger's hobbies include pitching horseshoes, watching scary movies, collecting knives and wristwatches, playing video games, and testing his luck with scratch off lottery tickets. He loved family reunions, birthdays, and holidays; any reason to get together with family and friends. He was the kindest, most genuine person, and loved with his whole heart. A memorial service for Roger will be held at a later date. Roger is survived by his parents, Donald and Esther Kelley; his brothers, Dale Kelley and Jason Kelley, both of Troy; and his sisters, Judy Kelley of Troy, Jane Estes of Troy, and Velva Randolph of Temple. Arrangements are entrusted to Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Roger Ray Kelley please visit our Sympathy Store.
