Roger McDowell Coleman Jr.

Roger McDowell Coleman Jr., 61, of Temple passed away on April 24, 2024 in Italy, Texas.
Services will be held at 10:00AM. Friday May 10, 2024 at Trinity Church in Temple with Pastor Bryan  Allen officiating.
Roger  was born on February 24, 1963 in Dallas, Texas at Parkland Memorial Hospital to his parents of Roger M. Coleman Sr and
Nan Renfro.
Roger graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in August of 1981.He continued his education at Kilgore Junior college in Kilgore Texas and Tabor College in Hillsboro, Kansas majoring in psychology. He felt called to the U.S. Navy in 1984 where he proudly served his country
until his honorably discharged in 1989. Roger was an active member of Trinity Church in Temple, Texas under Pastor Ed Dowell and Pastor Bryan Allen. Roger was also very passionate about race cars racing and sports. He was a devoted Dallas Cowboy fan.
Roger is survived by his spouse Patricia Roberts. His children Marcus Davis-Coleman, Rajah Coleman, Roger Coleman III, Torey Johnson, and
Jerrell Johnson. His sisters and brothers Pam Coleman, Monique Coleman,Ryian Coleman, Keiuna Coleman, Kemuel Coleman, Kim Coleman,
Rodney and Regina Coleman who both preceded him in death.
His grandchildren Marcus Coleman Jr, and Marchelle Coleman. His nieces and nephews Christian, Dominique, Ryian Jr, Caleb who preceded him in
death, Adreinne, Khyia, Keyshawn, Keyon, Kylon, Kaidyn, Kemuel Jr, Keionna, Breionna, Jasmine, Ebony, Jordan, NyJasmine, Jadah, Kameron,
JaNiya, Thomas, and Janet. His God son Gianni “G-Man”.
Roger also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who were very active in his life and he deeply cared for and loved.
