Robert Casilhas Sr.

Robert (Bob) Casilhas, Sr., 71, of Belton passed away on Monday, March 2, 2015 at his residence. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, March 13, 2015 at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen. Robert (Bob) Casilhas, Sr. was born on September 28, 1943 to Manuel and Frances Casilhas in New Bedford. Bob served in the Navy for four years. He worked as a Master Electrician in Massachusetts and a Journeyman Electrician in Texas for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Manuel Casilhas. Bob is survived by his mother, Frances Casilhas of Fair Haven, Massachusetts; one brother, Kenneth Casilhas of Yorktown, Virginia; his loving wife of 54 years, Joyce Casilhas of Belton ; two daughters, Robin Berteau of Hammond, Louisiana and Becky Casilhas of Belton; a son, Bobby Casilhas of Round Rock; six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and two nieces.
