Richard Willoughby

Richard Willoughby, known affectionately as Ricky to his loved ones, passed away on July 2, 2024, in Temple, Texas. He was born on September 14, 1951, in West Helena, Arkansas.

Ricky was a man of loving nature with a passion for spending time with his family and fishing. His warm personality and caring demeanor endeared him to all who were fortunate enough to know him.

In his journey through life, Ricky touched the hearts of many. He now leaves behind cherished memories that will forever be held dear by his surviving family and friends.

Ricky is survived by his daughter, Kathy Jo Akins of Mississippi; brothers Jay Willoughby of Troy and Danny Willoughby of Temple; sisters Linda Culp of Florida, Mary Kline of Temple, and Judy Beene of Bartlett; as well as one grandchild.

In the loving memory of Richard "Ricky" Willoughby, let us remember the joy he brought into our lives and the love he shared with those around him.

 May he rest in peace knowing that he was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
