Richard Duane Beckham Sr.

Richard Duane Beckham Sr., 76, of Salado passed away Saturday, December 19, 2015 at his residence. A Visitation will be held 5:00 to 7:00 Monday, December 21, 2015 at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton. Funeral Services for Richard will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Victory Baptist Church in Salado with Pastor Bill Borho officiating. A burial will follow at Cedar Valley Cemetery in Salado. Richard Duane Beckham Sr. was born January 23, 1939 to Milton and Alice Jenny Beckham in Austin. He married Jacquelyn Yarbough Jackson on February 29, 1976 in Salado. Richard was a glazier most of his life and owned Richard's Glass and Mirror for over 20 years. He was a member and Associate Pastor of Victory Baptist Church. Richard loved western movies, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He his preceded in death by his two sons, Richard D. Beckham Jr., Bill Jackson. Richard is survived by his loving wife, Jacquelyn Beckham of Salado; four sons, Marvin H. Beckham and Brent Beckham both of Waxahachie, Arlen Beckham of Jenks, O.K., and Joe H. Jackson of Salado; five daughters, Ginny Larvin of Kyle, Sylvia Summers of West Warick,RI , Peggy Combs of Ruidoso, NM, Mylinda Middleton of Evening Shade, AR, and Mary Wallingsford of Georgetown; one sister, Patsy Bucher of Austin, thirteen grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.
