Rene Fonseca Costilla

Rene Fonseca Costilla ,46, of Rockdale passed away on Wednesday, January 20,2021.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 from 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. followed by Rosary held at 6:00 P.M. at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton. Funeral services for Rene will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton. His body will be cremated following his funeral services. Rene's inurnment will be on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 1:00 PM at North Belton Cemetery.

Rene was born on January 13, 1975 to Ismael and Sylvia Costilla in Oklahoma City. He enjoyed fishing, Tejano Music, Crafts, Art, and tinkering with cars and trucks. Rene worked at Walmart Distribution for several years in Temple and recently worked for Durcon in Rockdale. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Ysraquela Olivarez and Hilaria Fonseca

Rene is survived by his father, Ismael Costilla and wife, Odilia of Belton; his mother, Sylvia Foncesa Mendoza and husband, Ben of Mathis; his stepchildren; Sean-Mikal Woods, Dylan Keith Woods, both of Rockdale, and Keely McMillian and wife, Jasmine of Stephenville; his brothers, Genaro Costilla and wife, Ana of Belton, Gabino Mendoza and wife, Jessica of Ingleside; and Samuel Costilla of Mathis; his sister, Sonia Ann Mendoza of Mathis; his step-brothers, Jose Torres, Pablo Tores,and  Francisco Torres; his step-sisters Elizabeth Serna and Odilioa Johnson and one step grandchild, Joe-Arnic woods of Rockdale.
