Remy Torres Santiago, 59, of Killeen went to be with God on Monday, September 16, 2019 at a local hospital. A visitation for Remy will be held on Friday, September 20, 2019 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton. His family has invited you to join them for his last ride on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 1:00 PM Â from Crotty Funeral Home to Iglesia Cristiana Monte Sinai in Killeen, motorcycles are welcome. Funeral Services will be held after the last ride, starting at 2:00 PM at Iglesia Cristiana Monte Sinai located at 701 E. Stan Schlueter Loop in Killeen. Cremation will take place following services. Remy was born on July 14, 1960 to David Torres and Lydia Santiago in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Remy joined the U.S. Army in 1979 and served as a Tanker operator. He served his country honorably for over 20 years. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, trying all types of foods, playing the bongos at church, Salsa music, movies, and traveling. Remy loved playing with his grandchildren and spending time with his family. Remy is survived by his mother, Lydia Santiago; his sons, Remy David Torres of Killeen, GianPierre Alvarado-Torres, and Geraldo Alvarado-Torres; his daughters, Eminnette Soldevila and Jeannette Watson, both of Killeen; his brothers, Joselyn Torres of Caguas, Puerto Rico, and Angel Luis Torres of Ponce, Puerto Rico; his sisters, Maria Torres of Caguas, Puerto Rico, Ana Torres, and Lydia Torres, both of Ponce, Puerto Rico, and five grandchildren.
