Reginald Darron Newman,59, of Moody passed away on Friday, July 30,2021.
A viewing for Reginald will be held from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M on Sunday, August 8, 2021, at Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, August 9, 2021, at 3C Cowboy Fellowship Church in Salado with Pastor George Harrison officiating. Cremation will take place following services.
Reginald was born on October 10, 1961, to Frank and Clarice Newman in Temple. He graduated from Moody High School and attended trade school at TSTC in Waco for Masonry. Reginald joined the U.S. Army Reserve. He worked for Eddy Feed Store as a warehouse manager for many years, and they became more like family to him. He was known by everyone for his kindness and smile. Reginald never met a stranger and would give anything he had for anyone. Reginald was amazing with horses and was considered a horse whisperer. He loved horses, cooking, being around all types of people, spending time with his family, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Frank Vernon Newman, and his brother, Tyrone Newman.
Reginald is survived by his mother, Minister Dr. Clarice Grantt of Ft. Worth, his life companion, Tonya Meyer of Belton, his son, Reginald Darron Newman Jr. of El Paso, his brothers, Frank V. Newman Jr. of San Antonio and Duane Newman of Seattle. His sisters, Rhonda D. Newman of Ft. Worth, Laquisha Newman Suarez of Troy, Jarvis Lewis of Hewitt, and Kimberly Lewis of Hewitt, one grandchild, and numerous cherished family members, and friends,
