Petra Lopez Gonzalez

Petra Lopez Gonzalez, 93, of Belton passed away on February 3, 2015 at a Belton nursing home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 on Friday, February 6, 2015 at Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple. Visitation will be held from 5-7 P.M. Thursday February 5, 2015 at Crotty Funeral Home of Belton. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00P.M. at the funeral home. Petra Lopez Gonzalez was born on January 20, 1922 in Corpus Christi to Juan and Rebecca Lopez. She married Jesus Aranda Gonzales in 1938 in St. Patrick, TX. And he preceded her in 1963. She is survived by seven sons, Edjuardo Gonzalez-Lopez of Baja, Ca.,Acencion Gonzalez-Lopez of Temple, TX., Jose Luis Gonzalez-Lopez and Manuel Gonzalez-Lopez both of CD,Acuna, Mexico, Ricardo Gonzalez-Lopez and Raul Gonzalez-Lopez both of Belton and Martin Gonzalez-Lopez of Kyle,TX.; four daughters, Maria Teresa Rivas and Maria De Jesus Trevino both of Del Rio, Martha Hernandez and Irma Jimenez both of Belton; three brothers, Juan Lopez, Teofilo Lopez and Manuel Lopez all of Lubbock, TX.; four sisters, Jorita Aguero of Lamesa,TX.,Graciela Aguero of San Antonio,TX., Maria Trevino of Angleton, TX. and Celia Hernandez.; 38 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple Crotty Funeral Home of Belton is in charge of arrangements.
