Pedro A. Ruiz Rodriguez

Pedro Antonio Ruiz Rodriguez, 68, of Killeen passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, April 12, 2018. A visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Crotty Funeral home with a funeral services to follow at 5:00 P.M. with Pastor Feliciano officiating. Pedro was born on December 20, 1949 in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. Pedro is a Vietnam War Veteran and received a Purple Heart, Bronze Star, and many other awards and medals for his service. He married the love of his life, Rosa A. Castillo on November 11, 1972 in New Jersey. He enjoyed playing pool, dancing, watching sports, and singing. Pedro was a very happy person and would often wake up his family singing. He was a member of the YMCA and loved spending time with his family. Pedro is preceded in death by his parents, Petra Quintana and Daniel Ruiz. He is survived by his loving wife Rosa A. Ruiz of Killeen; his sons, Pedro A. Ruiz and Tommy Castillo; his daughters, Vanessa S. Cintron and Maria C. Ruiz; his son in laws, Jose A. Cintron, David Lopez and Jonathan Velazquez; his daughter in law,Tatiana Farinacci; and grandchildren, Leila N. Cintron, David J. Cintron, Cristina A. Serra Ruiz, and Gian D. Castillo.
