Paula Smith

Paula Kay Smith, 67, passed from this life on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, in Gatesville, Texas in a long-term care facility.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Paula was born on July 22, 1955, in Elizabethtown, Kentucky to William C. and Sadie Ann Smith. She and her brothers were the first set of triplets born in this community. Paula loved playing and listening to bluegrass music, shopping, cooking big meals for her family, enjoying her passion for fishing, but her biggest love was playing her mandolin in church with her brother, Terry.

Paula was preceded in death by her father, William (Bill) Smith.

She is survived by her mother, Sadie Ann; a daughter, Stacy Gordon of Killeen; a son Billy Michael Gordon of Belton; three brothers, Terry Smith and wife Lois of Temple, Jerry Smith of Belton and William Smith and wife Debbie of Temple; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
