Patrick Eugene Oliver

Patrick Eugene Oliver, 31, of Bandera passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2017 due to injuries acquired while trying to save his daughter, Kaitlyn Oliver's life on Friday, June 23, 2017 during a tragic boating accident. Patrick was born on July 31, 1985 in San Antonio to Mark and Katherine Oliver. He worked in construction and manufacturing most of his life. Patrick enjoyed playing video games, watching the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Longhorns play, and listening to country music. Patrick was known for his devotion to his daughter, Kaitlyn, and his many nieces and nephews. Patrick was preceded in death by his daughter, Kaitlyn Renee Oliver and his father Mark Oliver. Patrick is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Mayfield of Temple; his mother, Katherine Oliver; his Aunt who raised him, Teresa A. McAlister of San Antonio; his brothers, Robert Arthur Oliver of San Antonio, and Jesse William McAlister Sr. of Utah; his grandmother, Rose Hrovat and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. The community is invited to attend funeral services for Patrick and Kaitlyn Oliver held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Temple Bible Church (3205 Oakview Dr. Temple TX 76502) with Pastor Chase Bowers officiating. After the services, all are invited to join the family for a balloon release outside of Temple Bible Church. Following services, the two beloved will be cremated and entrusted to the family.
