Patrick Henry Murphy Sr., 72, of Temple passed away Saturday, August 16, 2014. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. His body was cremated. Patrick Henry Murphy was born July 3, 1942 to Henry and Florence Murphy in Dallas. He enjoyed fishing, boating, and anything that had to with the outdoors. He was preceded in death by one brother, Glen Ray Murphy in 1972. He is survived by one son, Patrick Henry Murphy Jr.; one daughter, Kristina Rogers of Corpus Christi; six brothers, John Westley of Garland, Arthur Singleton of Huntsville, Gary Dean Murphy of Midlothian, Bruce Hayden Murphy of East Texas, and Michael Wayne Murphy of Garland; one sister, Kathy Murphy of Plano; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
