Ollie Jo Odaka

Ollie Jo Odaka, 77, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 7, 2015. A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at River Church located at 312 W. Hwy 190 Belton, TX 76513 in Belton with Pastor Gatto officiating. Ollie Jo Odaka was born January 17, 1938 to Vernon and Thelma Rucker in McCulloch County. She lived most of her life in Temple and worked at Scott & White as a receptionist in the Labor and Delivery Department for over 20 years. She had compassion for others, a witty sense of humor, and a deep love for God. She was a strong believer and put her trust in the Lord even as she took her last breath. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, and sister. Ollie is survived by her children, Karen Rice, Richard Rice, Della Borlund,David Langkiet, and five grandchildren.
