Myrtle Louise Ogdon Myrtle Louise Ogdon, 79, of Temple passed away Friday, November 16, 2012 at her residence. Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 24, 2012 in the historical chapel of Salado United Methodist Church with Reverend Travis Franklin officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Myrtle Louise Ogdon was born on November 20, 1932 to James Cecil and Nora Annice (Grimes) Kirkpatrick in Wright City, Texas. She Married Edward B. Ogdon May, 17 1950. She was a Navy wife and a homemaker most of her life and has been a resident of Bell County since 1977. She was known as the family historian. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward B. Ogdon and one brother, John C. Kirkpatrick Jr. Survivors are four sons; Kirk E. Ogdon, of Kempner, Billy C. Ogdon, of Austin, Kraig A. Ogdon, of Albuquerque, NM., and Mac D. Ogdon, of Belton; two daughters, Darlene J. Ogdon and Karen J. Morgan both of Temple. three brothers; James R. Kirkpatrick, of Belton, Danny R. Kirkpatrick, of Rockport, and Ronald H.E. Kirkpatrick of Belton; six sisters, Moriel Lee Gilmore, of Belton Joyce M. Gearhart of Corpus Christi, Norma J. Alexander of Corpus Christi, Margarette E. White of Troy, Maggie F. Adamovich, of Placerville, CA., and Nora B. Jones, of Section, AL; fourteen Grandchildren and twenty three great grandchildren. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be dearly missed. Burial will be held at North Belton Cemetery.
