Myong Lampe

Myong Lampe, a loving and kind-hearted woman, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2023, in Killeen, Texas. Born on December 1, 1948, in South Korea, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Throughout her life, she was known for her passionate spirit and her dedication to her family and her faith.

Myong was the daughter of the late Changsu Kim and Yongwul Suhl. In 1974, she married the love of her life, Wilfried Lampe, and together they built a beautiful life filled with love and laughter. Wilfried, preceded her in death in 2008.

As a loving homemaker, Myong dedicated her life to caring for her family and creating a warm and nurturing home. She was a proud mother to her son James, her daughter Julia and husband, Robert, of Killeen, and her daughter Anita. Myong was also a doting grandmother to her granddaughter, Deja Mirra.

After converting from Buddhism to Christianity Myong was an active member of the United Korean Church in Oak Grove, Kentucky. She was deeply committed to her faith.

In her spare time, Myong enjoyed a variety of hobbies and interests. She had a deep love for animals and often took in animals, providing them with a loving home. Cooking was another of Myong's passions, and she was known for many delicious dishes which she generously shared with family and friends. Myong also enjoyed playing cards with her loved ones.

Myong was a woman of great kindness and compassion. She had a natural ability to make others feel loved and valued. Myong's loving spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Myong Lampe leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and passion. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
