Morris Glenn Ivy

Morris Glenn Ivy, Sr., 78, of Hillsboro passed away on Friday, September 12, 2014 at a Temple hospital. Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday September 22, 2014 at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen with Joshua Rodgers officiating. His body was cremated. Morris Glenn Ivy, Sr. was born on July 26, 1936 in Bosque County to A.C. and Jewell Waitts Ivy. He served in the U.S. Army from November 6, 1956 until November 4, 1960 He married Joyce Ann in 1979 and she preceded him in death on Feb. 18, 2009. He worked in construction most of his life. Survivors are two sons, Oly Ivy of Temple and William Yearwood of Portsmouth,OH.; one brother, Edward Ivy of Jacksonville, Arkansas; three grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his wife and one son, Morris Glenn Ivy Jr. in 2006.
