Michael John David Smith

Michael John David Smith, 74, of Temple passed away on Friday, March 23, 2018 at a local hospital. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Michael Smith was born on June 19, 1943 to Frank and Mollie Smith in Yorkshire, England. Michael attended the University of Utah. Mr. Smith served this country as a member of the United States Army Reserves. He worked as a mechanic and enjoyed restoration of old cars. Michael spent his free time building model airplanes and was the President of the Northern Utah Modelers Association for over 25 years. He enjoyed reading, especially scriptures and spending time with his grandchildren. Michael is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Sandra Smith of Temple, his son, Christoher Michael Smith, of Utah, two daughters; Annie Putham of Troy, and Megan Gelter of Utah and 7 grandchildren.
