Micah L.K. Anakalea, 36, of Killeen passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 in a local hospital. Micah was born to June and George Samante on September 21, 1983 in Honolulu, Hawaii. He worked in drywall construction. Micah was an avid sports fan and enjoyed baseball, softball, football, and basketball. He also loved playing in pool tournaments. Micah is in the Hall of Fame for his baseball team, The Sox, who played in Killeen. He was also football player of the year at his high school in Waianae, Hawaii. A visitation will be held on Friday, November 01, 2019 at Crotty Funeral Home from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Cremation will follow. Micah is survived by his mother, June M. Tagawa; his stepfather, George P. Samante; his stepdad, Kevin H. Tagawa; his sisters, Darlamae-Kanoe Vaenuku of Waianae, Hawaii, Daynalee-Kalei Holbron-Kealoha of Waianae, Princess-Shoreline Samante of Waianae, Kealia-Uilani Samante of San Antonio, and Rosalie Keahi of Killeen; his godson Devon Keahi, many cherished family members; and his dog Buster.
