May ""Sis"" Johnson, 85, of Belton passed away Sunday, July 5, 2015 at a Belton nursing home. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, July 9, 2015 with Pastor Pete Cunniff officiating at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton. A burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery in Belton. May ""Sis"" Johnson was born May 23, 1930 to Orvel and Ethel Wood in Belton. She was a cook at Belton High school for most of her life and enjoyed collecting different things. May was known for doing anything to help anyone no matter what and loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother J.W. Wood. May ""Sis"" Johnson is survived by her loving husband, Don Johnson of Belton; three sons, Walter Chamberlain of North Richland Hills, Glenn Cunniff of Belton, and Pete Cunniff Of Fort Worth; one daughter, Kelly Hantz of Weatherford; twelve grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren, thirteen great great grandchildren; a brother, Alvin Wood and a sister, Barbara Winkelmeyer both of Fort Worth. A Visitation will be Wednesday, July 8, 2015 from 5:00P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton. Arrangements are entrusted to Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton.
