Matthew Lane Boren

Matthew Lane Boren, a cherished son and devoted father, passed away unexpectedly on August 2024 in his hometown of Temple, Texas. Born on November 29, 1989, Matthew was a shining light in the lives of all who knew him.

 After Matthew graduated from Troy High School, he found immense joy in fishing and shared countless treasured moments by the water with his son, Asher Grey Boren. The bond they created was one of life’s proudest accomplishments for him. Together, they explored nature, fostering a love for the outdoors and each other. Matthew’s heart swelled with pride as he watched Asher grow, encouraging him in all his pursuits and passions.

 A sports enthusiast, Matthew took great delight in watching baseball and football games, often gathering with family and friends to cheer for his favorite teams. These moments created lasting memories filled with laughter and camaraderie.

 Matthew will forever be remembered by his loving mother, Patricia Rae Olsen; his son, Asher Grey Boren; his brothers, Matthew Lane Boren and Jeffery Lee Martin and his sisters, Jennifer Joe Boren, and Savannah Ortiz Olsen.

 He is reunited in peace with his late father, Joe Lee Boren, who undoubtedly welcomed him back with open arms.

Family services for Matthew will be held at a later date. 

Matthew's presence was a gift that has now left an irreplaceable void in the hearts of his family and friends. His legacy of kindness, fond memories, and boundless love for those around him will continue to inspire and comfort them as they navigate life without him.
