Marvin E. Lasly Jr. passed away on Sunday October 16, 2016 at a Temple nursing home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00P.M Wednesday October 19, 2016 at Hillcrest Cemetery with Minister H,K, Ballard officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday October 18, 2016 from 5:00P.M. until 7:00P.M. at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton. Mr. Lasly was born on May 8, 1938 in Moody, TX. to Marvin and Ruby Smart Lasly. He married Brenda Dillard on December 26, 1958 in Lorena, TX. He worked for twenty eight years for American Desk as a Lead foreman in Temple. Survivors are his wife Brenda Lasly of Temple; one son, Ronald Dean Lasly of Midway, TX; one daughter, Cindy Kay Levingston of Troy,TX.; two brothers, David Lasly of Lakeside, FL. and Ricky Lasly of Temple; five sisters, Vickie Horsch of Troy, Joan Rushing of Moody , Barbara Jean Boyd of Belton, Helen Peters of Temple and Nancy Skrabanek; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
