Marjorie Liles

Marjorie J. Liles, age 96 of Temple died Thursday, February 23, 2023, in a local care center. A family graveside service will be held at the Granger City Cemetery at 1 PM on Saturday, February 25, 2023, with Paul Thompson officiating.

Mrs. Liles was born on September 8, 1926, in Williamson County to Henry Clay and Nettie Lou (Holley) Warner. In her early years she worked for Western Union, but devoted the majority of her life to her family and home. She loved children, and for many years operated a daycare in her home.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one son, Danny Liles, and four sisters.

Survivors include one son, Billy Liles and wife, Carol; two daughters Debra Thompson and husband, Paul, and Lori Liles, all of Temple; 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Arrangements are entrusted to Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton.
