Lynda “Maw Maw” Sue Treece, 60, of Copperas Cove passed away on Friday, July 14, 2022, at her residence. Sadly her daughter, Lyndsey Turner passed away the next day. Their services will be held together.
A viewing for Lynda will be held from 12:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M on Friday, July 22, 2022 at Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Belton. Her daughter, Lyndsey Turner will also be present for viewing. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Heritage Country Church located at 9677 Lark Trail in Salado. Lynda's burial will take place following services at North Belton Cemetery in Belton.
Lynda was born on January 15, 1962, to Ray and Sue LaRocque in Belton. She spent most of her life raising and loving her children and grandchildren. Lynda was a country girl with a heart of gold. She loved baking, being with family, and loving everyone she met. Her family will miss her dearly.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Treece, her parents, Ray and Sue LaRocque her brother, Dennis LaRocque and her daughter Lyndsey Turner.
Lynda is survived by her life partner, Robert Tanner of Copperas Cove; her son, Nicholas Mattson and wife, Tami of Belton; her daughters, Mysty Tanner and her husband Ronnie of Buckholts, Kandyce Thompson and her husband Brandon of Owl Creek, and Calli Atherton and her husband Michael of Morgan’s Point; her brother, Roho LaRocque and wife Becky of Belton; her sister, Jennifer LaRocque of Belton and many nephews, nieces, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Arrangements are entrusted to Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton.
