Lyle Edwards Ferrell

Lyle Edwards Ferrell, 67, of Academy passed away on Monday, July 31, 2017. Lyle was born on November 4, 1949 in San Diego, CA. He served in the U.S. Army for several years as a mechanic on large engines and Tanks. He was known for being able to fix just about anything and worked in small engine repair for many years. Lyle loved motorcycles, fishing, working on custom cars, drinking Natural Light with his friends, and making people laugh. He was a member of the APA Pool Association and the Little River Catfish Association. A private family and friend celebration will held at a later date just the way Lyle would have wanted it. Lyle is preceded in death by his wife Fern Vickers. He is survived by his daughters, Morgan Lee Frieden, and husband Chris of Rogers and Stephanie Yachick of academy; his dear friend of many years, Nancy Kreger of Harker Heights and numerous friends.
