Lydia Mack

Lydia Mack, 89, of Harker Heights passed away on Monday February, 24, 2014 at her residence. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 P.M. on March 23, 2014 at Brush Prairie Cemetery at Brush Prairie, Washington. Her body was cremated. Lydia Mack was born on August 22, 1924 in Russia to Jacob and Carolina Shotzs Rosin. She married Donald Mack on March 23, 1946 in Vancouver, WA. and he preceded her in death on November 19, 2012 after 68 years of marriage. She worked as a welder for Boeing Aircraft during World War II in 1946. She attended Clark Community College in 1947 receiving her nursing degree. Mrs. Mack worked as an LVN in private practice until her retirement in 1953. She was a homemaker. Survivors are one son, Randy Mack of Honolulu, Hawaii ; three daughters, Patti Bray of Harker Heights,TX ; Dawn Dawesw of Wallawalla, WA. And Carrie Carreon of Redlands, CA.; one sister, Carrie Lealos of Vancouver, WA.; three grandchildren. Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton is in charge of arrangements.
