Lucinda Lee Vega

Lucinda Lee Vega, age 63, of Nolanville, born on August 9, 1960, in San Jose, Costa Rica passed away on August 28, 2024, in Temple, Texas. 

Lucinda is survived by William Daniel of Nolanville, whom she loved for over forty years, son, Travis Daniel of Belton, her beloved grandchildren: Aliesia, Juliana, Gabriella, and Alivia. They carry her spirit in their hearts, no matter the circumstances.

Lucinda's family grieves the loss of a gentle soul, who despite the struggles of her later years, always sought connection and love. Her memory will endure through the lives of so many friends and family who will continue to honor her story and legacy. They remember her not just for the challenges she faced, but for the bright moments she shared and the deep love that resided within her heart.

The family also remembers her daughter, Elvera Twitty, who has been waiting with open arms since her passing in 2021. Lucinda is now reunited with Elvera, and the bonds of love between them remain unbroken. She is also preceded in death by her parents, Travis and Donna "Donnie" Widener. 

Lucinda wished for there to be no memorial. Her wishes were for her to be cremated and her ashes to be spread in Costa Rica were she was born.  

Lucinda Lee Vega’s journey may have had its difficulties, but it was also filled with love, laughter, and precious moments that will live on in the hearts of her family. Her legacy serves as a reminder of the strength of family and the resilience of the human spirit amidst life’s challenges. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will forever guide and inspire those she left behind.
